"Claimed Innocence Even After Seven-Day Grace Period"
Jomin, daughter of former leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party and active YouTuber, released a complaint document through her social networking service (SNS) on September 9.
On this day, Jomin posted a photo of the complaint and stated, "I usually do not file complaints, but after giving several warnings and a seven-day grace period, the post remained and false accusations continued, so I had no choice but to file a criminal complaint. There will be no settlement (no settlement)." The complaint shown in the photo lists "defamation by spreading false information" as the charge.
In the complaint, Jomin asserted, "The accused copied my post without permission and uploaded it to their own account, spreading false information as if I had embezzled advertising fees or engaged in illegal advertising. As a result, my social reputation has been damaged and my property and personal rights have been infringed, so I ask for criminal punishment."
Previously, Jomin won a civil lawsuit against the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, receiving 25 million won in damages and 7 million won in statutory interest. At that time, she revealed that she used this compensation to purchase a used Tesla vehicle.
