Muan County, South Jeolla Province, announced on September 9 that it held the 2025 third quarter meeting with the Foreign Resident County Administration Monitoring Team on September 7.

Twelve monitoring team members attended the meeting, where they shared the achievements of their activities from the previous quarter and introduced key policies for foreign residents. Promotional materials were also distributed to enhance participation in and understanding of county administration.

In particular, the county focused on practical improvement measures by sharing the results of departmental reviews regarding 16 grievances and suggestions proposed by team members in May, and by collecting additional opinions.

Han Seungheon, head of the Population Policy Division of Muan County, stated, "This meeting was significant because it went beyond simply listening to opinions and shared how actual suggestions were reviewed and reflected," adding, "We will continue to develop and implement a variety of policies to support foreign residents."

The county plans to hold monitoring team meetings every quarter to provide ongoing support so that foreign residents can settle in the local community with stability.
