Muan County Volunteers Organize Homes for Elderly Residents Living Alone, Practicing Love for Neighbors

Muan County in South Jeolla Province conducted home organization volunteer activities for elderly residents living alone in Mangun-myeon as part of the "Visiting Jeonnam-style Lifelong Learning Program," a project supported by South Jeolla Province.

This initiative was designed to give back to the community by applying the organization and storage skills learned in the lifelong learning classes. A total of 23 people participated, including the instructor and 15 students from the Mangun-myeon organization and storage class, along with 8 staff members. They supported the organization and tidying of living spaces, putting into practice their love for neighbors.

The professional instructor and students who completed the training visited the homes of elderly residents in person, systematically classifying items and organizing storage to create a pleasant living environment.

The students who volunteered shared, "It was a meaningful experience to give back the knowledge we learned to the local community," and expressed their intention to continue participating actively in the future.

Kim San, the governor of Muan County, stated, "Lifelong learning becomes even more meaningful when it extends beyond simple learning to sharing," and added, "We will continue to expand lifelong learning opportunities where residents can learn, share, and grow together."
