In celebration of Youth Day, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province will host the "2025 Anseong Youth Festival" on September 20 at the Korea National University Stadium.
The festival will feature a main stage program and four experiential zones, designed as a participatory event where attendees can relax, enjoy, and connect with one another.
The main stage will include a pre-show performance, opening ceremony, the Anseong Youth King Singer finals, a talk concert, a screening of an independent youth film, and the closing ceremony. For the "Anseong Youth King Singer" competition, six teams that advanced through the preliminary round-where 20 teams competed-will perform in the finals.
During the talk concert, comedian Kim Younghee will lead a session under the theme "Overcoming Youth Concerns," providing a platform for communication. As the closing program, the independent youth film "The Time Crossing You" will be screened.
The venue will be divided into four zones: University Students, Experience, Flea Market, and Food. In the University Students Zone, Hankyung National University, Korea Polytechnic University Semiconductor Convergence Campus, Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, and Chung-Ang University Davinci Campus will participate, setting up promotional and experiential booths for their schools.
The Experience Zone will offer 12 programs, including youth policy information, employment support, stress measurement, personal color and beauty consultations, tarot readings, photo booths, drone soccer, economic education, and games.
In the Flea Market Zone, 20 youth sellers selected through an open recruitment process will display and sell handmade and design goods, as well as daily necessities.
Bora Kim, Mayor of Anseong, stated, "Through this festival, which is planned and participated in directly by young people, we aim to expand experiences of relaxation, challenge, and connection."
