Under the title 'K-Stage Showcase,' a diverse range of stages were presented, including traditional Korean music performances, musicals, and music dramas.

The novel "The Uncomfortable Convenience Store," which ranked number one among translated novels in Taiwan, was adapted into a music drama for the first time overseas. Musical actor Kai performed signature songs from original Korean musicals, receiving enthusiastic applause. During "The Uncomfortable Convenience Store" performance, audience members were able to enjoy the Korean show more deeply with AI subtitle-supporting smart glasses. Seven, Kim Dongjun (ZE:A), Sunye (Wonder Girls), Jang Dongwoo (Infinite), U-Kwon (Block B), and Lee Jihoon performed the drama "Dream High" in the form of a show musical. In addition, the National Gugak Center presented traditional performances, while the Ansung Namsadang troupe showcased pungmul (traditional percussion performance) and beona (plate spinning), bringing the charm and excitement of Korean culture to the local audience.

The Korea Tourism Organization stated that the showcase confirmed the high level of local interest in Korean performances in Taiwan. More than 17,000 people applied in advance, and despite a deposit system to prevent no-shows, all seats were fully booked early.

The organization also announced that, in collaboration with KKday, the largest online travel agency in Taiwan, on-site promotions were conducted to encourage locals who experienced the appeal of Korean performances to visit Korea as a destination for performance tourism.

Kim Namcheon, Acting Director of the Tourism Content Strategy Division, said, "Through this event, we presented a new paradigm for performance tourism by combining Korean culture and technology. We will spare no effort to ensure that performing arts become another killer content that drives tourism to Korea, going beyond simple box office success."
