The appointed Human Rights Guardians will visit elderly medical welfare facilities in the county at least once a month to conduct human rights monitoring and counseling for both residents and staff. They are expected to help ensure that facility residents can lead healthy and stable lives.

Kim Yooncheol, the county governor, stated, "The Human Rights Guardian system is essential to protecting the dignity and rights of our elderly. We will continue to actively support Human Rights Guardians and work together so that our seniors can enjoy safe and happy lives."

Meanwhile, Hapcheon County plans to continue regular meetings and monitoring through the Human Rights Guardian program, strengthening the human rights protection system in elderly medical welfare facilities and striving to create an environment where seniors are treated with respect.
