Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and co-organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency and COEX, the event celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Under the slogan "BCWW, Window to What's Next," a variety of programs will be offered, including an exhibition market, conference, showcase, and business matching. More than 350 companies from 20 countries-including Taiwan, Japan, China, Mongolia, and Turkiye-will participate, and over 800 buyers from 36 countries, including the United States, Singapore, and Thailand, have pre-registered.

This year, France will be invited as the first-ever guest country in the event's history. Major organizations such as the French National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC), Unifrance, Mediawan, and Gaumont TV will visit Korea to explore opportunities for co-production and export cooperation. A representative from the Korea Creative Content Agency remarked, "With the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France approaching in 2026, this event is expected to mark the beginning of full-fledged cooperation between the two countries' content industries."

The conference will feature twelve sessions addressing key issues in the broadcasting and video industry, such as FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV), artificial intelligence (AI), OTT, and short-form content. Global experts-including Alan Wolk, the media analyst who first introduced the concept of FAST, and Fede Goldenberg, Head of YouTube TV & Film AVOD Partnerships-will participate in large numbers. From Korea, writer Kim Eunhee, director Kang Yoonseong, and broadcaster Song Euni will share their production experiences.

The showcase will unveil SBS's "Mantis: The Murderer's Outing," KBS's "Eunsu's Good Day," and the Korea Creative Content Agency's AI video-supported project "Raphael." Popular entertainment formats such as CJ ENM's "A Really Good Person," MBC's "Bloody Game," and SLL's "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" will also be introduced.

The "Next K Media Festival," open to the general public, will be held in the COEX lobby. Major OTT content experience centers-including Tving, Wavve, and Coupang Play-as well as domestic FAST industry promotion booths from LG and Samsung TV, will be set up.

Yoo Hyunseok, Acting President of the Korea Creative Content Agency, stated, "BCWW has been the leading event driving K-content's overseas expansion for the past 24 years," adding, "We will spare no effort to support K-content in pioneering new markets amid the changing global media landscape."
