Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is holding a special event this month to celebrate 'Yongin Citizens' Day,' offering discounts on tickets to the Korean Folk Village and the Yongin Tour Pass.
The Korean Folk Village will offer Yongin residents admission tickets at a special price of 21,000 won until September 30. Residents can receive the discount by presenting their ID at the on-site ticket office or by using the 'Yongin City Point' app.
The Yongin Tour Pass will be sold at a discount for seven days, from September 22 to 28. The basic pass will be discounted by 2,000 won, and the package pass by 1,000 won. Passes can be purchased through links provided on the Yongin Tourism website and official social media channels.
The city plans to use this event to strengthen cooperation with major local tourist attractions and provide benefits to citizens, thereby increasing participation in tourism.
