Short-Form Videos and Logo Songs Highlight the Importance of Retirement Preparation for SME Workers
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (President Park Jonggil) is holding an AI promotion contest to commemorate the third anniversary of the launch of the Blue Seed, a retirement pension fund system for small and medium-sized enterprises, with the aim of raising public awareness.
This contest has been organized to make it easy and fun for the public to understand the meaning and value of Blue Seed through short-form videos and logo songs.
Blue Seed is a system designed to guarantee retirement income and prevent wage arrears for workers at small and medium-sized enterprises who are not adequately prepared for retirement, serving as a seed of hope for these employees.
In particular, Blue Seed, which is Korea’s first fund-type retirement pension system, has achieved a cumulative return of 21.43% in just three years since its implementation, establishing itself as a strong support system for the stable retirement life of SME workers.
Any citizen of Korea can participate in the contest, and the application period runs from September 10 to October 10.
Participants are free to choose their own topic, but the content must effectively and engagingly communicate the features of Blue Seed.
The contest has two categories: short-form video (maximum 2 minutes, 500MB) and logo song (maximum 2 minutes, 10MB). Entries must be original works created using AI, and there must be no legal issues regarding portrait or copyright rights.
To enter, applicants should refer to the announcements on the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service retirement pension website, complete the application form, and submit it via email.
Entries will be evaluated comprehensively based on topic relevance, originality, and suitability. The top prize in each category is 1.5 million won, the excellence award is 1 million won, and the encouragement award is 500,000 won. Outstanding works will be actively utilized for future media promotions, as well as on the organization’s official YouTube, Instagram, and other social media channels.
Park Jonggil, President of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, stated, "Through this contest, I hope the value of Blue Seed will be widely recognized and become a pillar of hope, enabling all Korean workers who are not adequately prepared for retirement to dream of a secure future."
