Visit Verification Event Planned from September to November
Experience Nakdonggang Fall Festivals
and Win Exciting Prizes
The Nakdonggang Council (Yangsan, Gimhae, Miryang in South Gyeongsang Province; Buk-gu, Sasang-gu, Gangseo-gu, and Saha-gu in Busan) will hold the 'Nakdonggang FESTA Fall Festival Visit Verification Event' from September to November, linking the representative fall festivals of seven local governments.
'Nakdonggang FESTA' is designed as a participatory event that collectively promotes festivals held along the Nakdonggang River, allowing citizens to enjoy them together.
Anyone can take a verification photo at a festival site and post it on their personal social media with the designated hashtags (#NakdonggangCouncil, #NameOfParticipatedFestival). Through a drawing, 30 people from each festival will receive a mobile gift certificate worth 30,000 won.
In addition, participants who visit more than one of the seven festivals and post verification photos on social media will be given an extra chance to enter the prize drawing, rather than just enjoying each festival individually.
Winners will be selected by drawing to receive an action camera (1 winner) and a Bluetooth speaker (3 winners), offering a unique experience that connects various regional festivals.
This event will kick off with the '23rd Myeongji Market Grunt Fish Festival' in Gangseo-gu, Busan, held from September 9 to 11, followed by the Alien Festival (Miryang, South Gyeongsang Province), the Sasang Riverside Festival (Sasang-gu, Busan), the Nakdonggang Gupo Ferry Festival (Buk-gu, Busan), the 2025 Sea Art Festival (Saha-gu, Busan), the Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival (Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province), and the Gimhae Buncheong Ceramics Festival (Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province). The series will conclude with the Gimhae Buncheong Ceramics Festival in early November.
A representative of the Nakdonggang Council stated, "We hope that this Nakdonggang FESTA Visit Verification Event will increase interest in local festivals and provide an opportunity to enjoy the diverse cultures of neighboring cities connected by the Nakdonggang River."
