Boseong County Discloses 52 Key Projects Under Policy Real-Name System

Enhancing Administrative Transparency and Reliability
Expanding Resident Participation

Boseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Kim Cheolwoo) announced on September 5 that it had selected 52 projects as key management targets under the 2025 Policy Real-Name System on September 3, and is currently releasing this information through the county website.

The "Policy Real-Name System" is a system in which the real names of those involved in the decision-making and implementation processes of major policies or projects, as well as the progress of these initiatives, are recorded, managed, and made public. This serves to enhance administrative transparency and build trust among county residents.

When a project is designated as a key management target, details such as the project's progress and the names of those responsible are disclosed throughout the year. This approach is intended to strengthen policy accountability and allow residents to directly monitor the implementation process.

In addition, the county operates the "Citizen Application Real-Name System" year-round, enabling residents to participate. If a resident applies to have a particular project made public, the project status and the names of responsible officials are released on the county website after a review process.

However, applications that are unclear, pertain to simple civil complaints, involve projects that have already been disclosed, or fall under the non-disclosure categories of the Act on Disclosure of Information by Public Agencies, are excluded.

Residents who wish to participate in the "Citizen Application Real-Name System" can download the application form from the Boseong County website, fill it out, and submit it by mail or fax.

A county official stated, "Through the Policy Real-Name System, we will transparently disclose the policy decision-making process and guarantee residents' right to know," adding, "We ask for your continued interest and active participation."
