Resource Circulation Day is a commemorative day established by the Ministry of Environment in 2009. The date, 9·6, was chosen to symbolize "reuse, reduce, and recycle," as the numbers represent circulation when reversed, and the day aims to raise awareness about waste reduction and resource recycling.
The Clean Country employee donation campaign was held at the company’s headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, from August 19 to 25, targeting all employees. As part of the company’s social contribution program "KleanCycle," which has been ongoing since 2022, this campaign is an initiative to create a "healthy and clean world."
Through this employee donation campaign, a variety of household items such as clothing, accessories, small appliances, and books were collected. Clean Country delivered a total of 5,140 items, including its own sanitary pad products, to Beautiful Store.
The donated items were sold at the "Beautiful Day" charity bazaar held on September 4 at the Anguk branch of Beautiful Store in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Beautiful Day is a charity bazaar where items donated by companies are sold at Beautiful Store, and the proceeds are used for public interest activities.
The proceeds from the sales will be delivered to vulnerable groups next year through the "Beautiful Sharing Bundle" program. This initiative supports neighbors in need so they can have a warm and healthy winter, and it provides assistance not only to the elderly living alone and low-income families but also to vulnerable groups struggling with energy access.
A Clean Country representative stated, "This campaign was a meaningful initiative in which the company and its employees participated together in resource circulation and the practice of sharing, going beyond simple item donation." The representative added, "Clean Country will continue to promote positive values for society and the environment by focusing on KleanCycle and advancing sustainable initiatives for the future."
