The '2025 Guerrilla Graffiti Art Playground' will be held three times at the Goyang Samsong Graffiti Art Alley (Shindo 1-gil area, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province), starting on September 6, followed by October 4 (Saturday) and November 1 (Saturday).
'Goyang Samsong Graffiti Art Alley' was selected this year for the '2025 Gyeonggi-do Nooks & Crannies Tourism Theme Alley Development Project,' which aims to discover unique alleys in each city and county of Gyeonggi Province and nurture them as lifestyle tourism attractions.
This event is organized by the Samsong Merchants Association, with the goal of revitalizing the local commercial district and promoting Samsong Alley as a distinctive cultural and artistic space. The event will be held in the underground space near Exit 3 of Samsong Station, at Dongsonggyo.
At the 'Guerrilla Graffiti Art Playground,' held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month, anyone of any age can freely draw, write, and paint to become an artist at the 'Free Graffiti Board' zone.
In addition, there will be a children's healing art experience where kids can draw with professional art instructors and discover a character ('Kkeujeogi') that matches their personality. There will also be a variety of free experience booths, including calligraphy, face painting, and fashion henna, offering visitors a chance to enjoy both visually and hands-on.
In particular, a 'roulette event' will be held on-site, giving away plentiful prizes to add to the festival's excitement.
Even outside of official event days, there will be ongoing programs for visitors to enjoy at Samsong Graffiti Art Alley. Through the smartphone app 'Realworld,' participants can join the 'Graffiti Adventure Mystery Game,' where they search for hidden 'Kkeujeogi' characters throughout the alley and complete missions. Those who complete the missions will also receive prizes.
Additionally, a 'Mural Photo Certification Event' will run continuously, where visitors can take photos with the alley's unique murals, upload them to Instagram with the required hashtags (#GoyangSamsongGraffitiArtAlley #GraffitiAdventure), and receive gifts.
