Korea Railroad Gwangju Headquarters announced on September 5 that it held the "3rd Quarter Life Sharing Blood Donation Event" to help overcome the blood supply shortage. The event took place at the blood donation bus (Gwangju Station) and the Blood Donation Houses (Gwangju Songjeong Station Center, Mokpo Center).
This event was made possible through the voluntary participation of Korea Railroad Gwangju Headquarters executives and employees, aiming to help stabilize the blood supply and promote a culture of life sharing.
Lee Chungu, Head of the Gwangju Headquarters, stated, "It is meaningful that Korail is fulfilling its social responsibility and contributing to the realization of the value of sharing during a time of blood supply difficulties." He added, "We will continue to take the lead in promoting a culture of life sharing through ongoing blood donation activities."
