They engaged in broad discussions on expanding urban exchanges and cooperation with the United Kingdom, as well as policy strategies for sustainable urban development.
On September 4, he visited key urban regeneration sites in London, including King's Cross and Tate Modern.

Mayor Lee stated, "Pohang is also making efforts for sustainable urban regeneration through projects such as Dongbin Culture Warehouse 1969 and the Cheolgil Forest. In particular, Coal Drop Yard at King's Cross is a case of utilizing idle railway land similar to Pohang's Cheolgil Forest. I will apply the strategies and know-how learned during this visit to Pohang, aiming to develop it into a model case of urban regeneration not only in Korea but also globally."
This visit is expected to serve as an opportunity for Pohang City to directly observe global urban regeneration cases and to strengthen the international competitiveness of Pohang’s urban regeneration projects by adapting them to local characteristics.
