The symposium was attended by approximately 200 medical professionals from across the country. Three specialists in functional medicine delivered presentations on the relationship between 'immunity' and 'skin diseases.' In particular, the event featured a prescription guide for Dexian MeD Cream 200mL, an MD moisturizer, as well as shared cases of treating various skin diseases through immunological approaches and the latest clinical insights.
Key sessions included: ▲ Evidence-Based '100% Utilization Guide for MD Moisturizers' (Youngmi Ji, Director of Seoul St. Mary's Neurosurgery Clinic); ▲ Skin Disease Protocols Approached Through 'Immunotherapy' (Jungmi Jang, Director of Slim Me Clinic); and ▲ Finding Solutions for Geriatric Skin Diseases Through Immunity (Jaehwan Lee, Director of Hyosarang Family Clinic).
In the first lecture, Youngmi Ji emphasized, "For patients with weakened immunity, such as children, using products without antigens (haptens) is more effective in improving symptoms." The second speaker, Jungmi Jang, stated, "Patients with skin diseases due to immunodeficiency require treatments that can enhance immune factors, such as Thymosin Alpha 1 injections and Laennec, along with antioxidants." Jaehwan Lee, who delivered the third lecture, pointed out that "elderly patients experience reduced skin regeneration and increased moisture loss," highlighting the importance of moisturization and the need to combine nutritional therapy to support skin regeneration.
Hanjung Yeop, Head of the Intellectual Property Division at GC Green Cross Wellbeing, commented, "This symposium was a meaningful opportunity to examine skin diseases commonly encountered in primary care from the perspective of immunotherapy," and added, "We will continue to promote the importance and effectiveness of immunotherapy, including nutritional injection products, in the future."
