Bithumb announced on September 5 that it will hold the "9th Bithumb Trading King" event.
The 9th competition will feature a total of 25 cryptocurrencies, including Volta (A), Algorand (ALGO), and Kaito (KAITO). The starting prize for each cryptocurrency is 3 million won, with a total starting prize pool of 75 million won. The top 50 users by cumulative trading volume for each cryptocurrency will be selected as winners, and a total of 1,250 winners will receive prizes according to their ranking.
The total prize pool will increase based on the trading volume for each cryptocurrency, so the more active the trading, the larger the prize amount will become.
This competition is being held based on trading records from September 2 until 11:59 p.m. on September 15, 2025. Participants must trade at least 100,000 won of the eligible assets for their trades to be counted in the league rankings, and the rankings will be determined by cumulative trading volume for each eligible cryptocurrency.
The "Trading King Maker Reward Distribution" event will also take place. All users who participate in trading through maker orders (limit orders) will receive points equivalent to 0.05% of their transaction amount, up to a maximum of 3 million points per cryptocurrency.
Participation can be registered through the "Ranking Competition" page on the official Bithumb website. The winners will be announced on September 23, 2025. Prizes will be distributed from September 24 to October 10, 2025.
A Bithumb representative stated, "Now in its ninth edition, the Trading King event has invigorated cryptocurrency trading and enriched our customers' trading experiences. We will continue to expand customer participation events to strengthen communication with our users and create a more user-centered trading environment."
