The Gyeonggi Provincial Institute for Lifelong Learning will conduct an additional recruitment of applicants for the "Lifetime Education Voucher for Persons with Disabilities" from September 8 to September 19, 2025.
The Lifetime Education Voucher for Persons with Disabilities is a program that supports up to 350,000 won per person for lifelong education course fees and textbook costs to expand educational opportunities for registered persons with disabilities.
The additional recruitment will be conducted in eight cities and counties, excluding regions where recruitment has already been completed.
The number of applicants to be recruited by region is as follows: 29 in Suwon, 16 in Hwaseong, 15 in Ansan, 14 in Gimpo, 10 in Uijeongbu, 16 in Yangju, 9 in Yangpyeong, and 8 in Yeoncheon, for a total of 117 people.
Eligible applicants are registered persons with disabilities aged 19 or older who are residents of the province as of the application date. However, recipients of national scholarships this year, previous recipients of the Gyeonggi-do Lifetime Education Voucher, and those who have received vouchers from their city or county are excluded.
The issued vouchers can be used at lifelong education facilities and lifelong vocational education institutes registered on the Gyeonggi-do Lifetime Education Voucher website.
Hong Seongdeok, Director of Lifelong Education at Gyeonggi Province, said, "We hope that this additional recruitment will allow more persons with disabilities to enjoy opportunities for learning."
