A total of four teams participated in the competition, and the review committee, composed of seven experts including professors and architects, conducted the evaluation with six out of seven members present. The winning design was highly rated for its ability to accommodate various residential types, as well as its feasibility and constructability.

This project will receive 8 billion won from the Local Extinction Response Fund. The site covers 413-1 Daehwa-ri, Daehwa-myeon, Pyeongchang County, along with five additional lots, with a total construction area of approximately 1,419.45 square meters (±5%). The county plans to begin the detailed design phase in mid-September, complete the design by March next year, break ground in April, and push forward with the goal of completing construction in the second half of 2027.

The Green Bio-Youth Living House is a project designed to provide residential infrastructure for young entrepreneurs and incoming residents, in connection with the Green Bio Venture Campus (scheduled for completion in 2027). It is expected to serve as a key facility for revitalizing the region and promoting population inflow.
