On September 3, Hoban Group announced that it visited the headquarters of the Army 51st Infantry Division in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and delivered a donation of 20 million won. The donation ceremony was attended by Moon Gap, Head of Management at Hoban Construction, Woo Seokje, Commander of the Army 51st Infantry Division, Oh Changsik, Commander of the Cheolma Brigade, and other key officials from both sides.
This donation will be widely used not only as consolation money for the soldiers but also to improve the fitness center environment. It will be used for repairing the aging floors and replacing exercise equipment, supporting the soldiers so they can continue their physical training and exercises in a safer and more pleasant environment.
Moon Gap, Head of Management at Hoban Construction, stated, "We are deeply grateful for the dedication of the soldiers who serve our country," and added, "We will continue to provide various forms of support so that Republic of Korea Armed Forces personnel can serve with a sense of duty and in good health."
In addition to this support, Hoban Group has continuously engaged in social contribution activities for Republic of Korea Armed Forces personnel. Since 2015, it has signed a "One Company, One Barracks" agreement with the Army III Corps, providing consolation money, training supplies, and medical supplies. Furthermore, the Hoban Scholarship Foundation delivered a "Companion Scholarship" of 20 million won last year to help the children of military public officials with their studies, continuing various support activities for both soldiers and their families.
