This ceremony was organized to directly present certificates of national merit, issued in the name of the President, to newly registered national merit recipients and their bereaved families, with the aim of enhancing the pride of veterans' families.
Approximately 20 people attended the event, including the head of the office, national merit recipients, and their families.
Lee Namil, head of the Busan Regional Veterans Office, stated, "It is an honor to personally present certificates of national merit in the name of the President," adding, "I will do my utmost to promote a culture that respects and honors national merit recipients."
