Buan County Conducts "Hygiene Education" for General Restaurant Owners

Held at the Multipurpose Auditorium on the First Floor of Buan Arts Center

Buan County in North Jeolla Province announced on September 4 that it had conducted "Hygiene Education for General Restaurant Owners" for existing general restaurant operators.


This training, held on September 3 at the multipurpose auditorium on the first floor of the Buan Arts Center, focused on proactive administration, food poisoning prevention and hygiene management, policy directions under the Food Sanitation Act, and improvements in food service industry customer service.

The county explained that the training, organized by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Education Center of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, was conducted to establish a safe and hygienic food culture and environment, provide convenience for both domestic and international visitors, enhance hygiene and customer service standards, and increase tourist satisfaction for those visiting the county.


In particular, to prevent food poisoning that can occur in hot weather, the county introduced the six major rules for food poisoning prevention and related guidelines, and emphasized the importance of thorough food hygiene management to ensure safe food for tourists.


County Governor Kwon Ikhyeon said, "I would like to thank the business owners for their efforts to prevent food poisoning and provide friendly service, and I hope you will continue to work hard so that many tourists will visit restaurants in Buan County in the future."
