IBK Industrial Bank of Korea Launches Robo-Advisor Discretionary Service for Retirement Pensions

AI-Powered, Customized Portfolio Design and More

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced that it will launch the retirement pension 'RA Discretionary Service' on September 5 to help retirement pension subscribers enhance their returns and secure additional sources of income for their retirement.


The 'RA Discretionary Service' is an asset management service in which an artificial intelligence (AI)-based robo-advisor (RA) automatically handles the entire process, from creating a customized portfolio tailored to market conditions to rebalancing.


This service can be subscribed to through the i-ONE Bank personal application (app). To celebrate the launch, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea will offer up to 10,000 won in Naver Pay points to the first 2,000 customers who sign up for the RA Discretionary Service by October 31.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea introduced the RA Discretionary Service through a business partnership with December & Company, a discretionary investment management firm. The bank also plans to expand customer choices by entering into additional business partnerships with major domestic discretionary investment management firms in the fourth quarter.


An IBK Industrial Bank of Korea representative stated, "Following the launch of the IBK Pension Easy service last year, we are introducing the RA Discretionary Service this year," adding, "We will continue to provide easier and more convenient asset management services in the future."
