Gwangju Urban Corporation, led by President Kim Seungnam, announced on September 4 that it held the "Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell" quiz competition on September 3 with participation from all employees, aiming to strengthen anti-corruption and integrity capabilities and to promote a culture of integrity within the organization.
The Integrity Golden Bell event was designed to move away from traditional lecture-based education. Instead, it offered an engaging, case-based quiz format covering integrity-related laws and systems, such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, allowing participants to learn in a fun way while naturally raising awareness of integrity.
Now in its second year following last year's event, this year's competition drew high interest and enthusiastic participation from employees. Contestants engaged in fierce competition as they answered both multiple-choice and short-answer quiz questions.
The competition consisted of three individual rounds. In the final round, ten participants advanced and competed by writing their answers on a whiteboard to determine the ultimate winner.
President Kim Seungnam stated, "This Integrity Golden Bell event provided a valuable opportunity for employees to participate directly, enjoy themselves, and reflect on the value of integrity," adding, "We will continue to promote a deep-rooted culture of integrity throughout the organization through various integrity initiatives."
