Mayor Joo Kyu-il Requests Inclusion of Design Budget
for "Korea Entrepreneurship Hall" in 2026 Government Plan

The project to establish the "Korea Entrepreneurship Hall" in Jinju City, Gyeongsangnam-do is expected to gain significant momentum.


Joo Kyu-il, mayor of Jinju City, met with Koo Yoon-chul, Minister of Strategy and Finance, at the Seoul Government Complex and requested support to ensure that the design service budget for the establishment of the "Korea Entrepreneurship Hall" would be included in the 2026 government budget.

Mayor Joo actively explained the necessity of the "Korea Entrepreneurship Hall" project, which aims to spread the entrepreneurial spirit of the first-generation founders who drove Korea's economic miracle to the world and pass it on to future generations. He strongly requested that the design service budget be included in next year's government budget.


Minister Koo Yoon-chul stated, "I agree on the need to establish the Korea Entrepreneurship Hall for a new leap forward in the Korean economy, and the government will actively support the project to ensure it progresses quickly."


Meanwhile, Jinju City has been focusing its administrative efforts on the establishment of the "Korea Entrepreneurship Hall," which aims to pass down K-entrepreneurship to future generations and present a creative vision. Through this proposal, the city plans to further accelerate efforts to highlight the past, present, and future of Korea's entrepreneurial spirit at a glance and to lay the groundwork for strengthening the startup and innovation ecosystem both locally and nationally.
