Through this policy, members of Soongsil University can freely utilize paid versions of generative AI. The services provided include a variety of models such as ChatGPT-5, Claude 4, Grok 4, and Gemini 2.5.

Soongsil University plans to establish a learning and research environment that enables comparative experiments among models and the use of multi-agent systems. To ensure the sustainability of this policy, the university will regularly monitor the usage status and learning outcomes of generative AI, while also pursuing model diversification and cost optimization in parallel.

In particular, during the second semester of the 2026 academic year, the university will host an "AI Utilization Roundtable" to gather feedback from students, faculty, and staff, and will work to enhance curricula tailored to the characteristics of each department.

Lee Yoonjae, President of Soongsil University, emphasized, "Through this policy, we will support Soongsil University members in growing as AI natives and accelerate innovation across all areas of education, research, and administration."
