Over 80 New Popular Overseas Brands Launched
Olive Young, Daiso, Topten, and No Brand Join as Tenants
Introducing the New Exclusive Wine Brand "Treasure"
Traders Wholesale Club announced on September 4 that it will open Traders Guhwol Branch, the second Traders store in Incheon, in Guhwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, on September 5. This will be the 24th Traders location.
Traders Guhwol Branch is a large-scale store with a total area of 15,438 square meters (4,670 pyeong), comprising approximately 9,586 square meters (2,900 pyeong) of directly operated retail space and about 5,851 square meters (1,770 pyeong) of tenant (in-store shop) space.
The directly operated area features a wide range of globally popular brands and key products sourced and procured by Emart, significantly enhancing product competitiveness. The tenant area has been designed to strengthen lifestyle and fashion offerings, with tenants such as Daiso, Olive Young, JAJU, Topten, and Champion, allowing customers to enjoy not only grocery shopping but also a variety of everyday shopping and lifestyle experiences.
A No Brand store, catering to customers seeking smaller package products, will also open with a space of 826 square meters (250 pyeong). The 'T-Cafe,' rebranded with a nature-friendly interior, is designed to accommodate up to 170 people, the largest capacity to date.
The reason Traders is opening a second store in Incheon is the city's continued market growth. The registered population of Incheon surpassed 3 million in January last year, and as of July 2025, it has reached 3,041,215, showing a steady upward trend. Namdong-gu, where the new Traders Guhwol Branch is located, is an area scheduled for redevelopment of the old downtown and the development of Guhwol District 2.
Traders Guhwol Branch serves as a major hub for launching one of Traders' key strategies this year: product innovation. Since the beginning of the year, the company has pooled its global sourcing expertise, integrated procurement, and product planning capabilities to introduce around 1,000 differentiated products. So far, approximately 540 new products have been sequentially rolled out to stores.
At Traders Guhwol Branch, an additional 460 differentiated new products will be introduced, further strengthening Traders’ product competitiveness. In particular, more than 80 popular overseas products have been newly brought in through sourcing and collaborations with global brands. Major items include 'Lays' snacks, 'PHYSIOGEL' cream, 'ARFUM Paris Capsule Detergent 62-pack,' and 'PRESIDENT Salted Butter.' The protein yogurt 'YoPRO 900g,' a joint product of Danone’s technology and the Pulmuone brand, will be launched in Korea for the first time.
Traders’ exclusive new wine brand, 'Treasure,' will also debut at Guhwol Branch with three varieties. The main offering is the 'Treasure Lucky Country Old Vine Shiraz,' made from old vines by the renowned Australian winery 'Two Hands,' and will be sold at 19,980 won. By planning a large batch of over 30,000 bottles, the store is able to offer a product from a famous winery at a price in the 10,000 won range.
A variety of exclusive opening special products are also prepared. The 'Kim Changsoo Whisky,' which was the highlight of the opening day at Traders Magok Branch in February, will be offered in a special 'Kim Changsoo Whisky Guhwol (700ml, 239,800 won)' edition, with only 126 bottles available, created and labeled specifically for the Guhwol Branch opening.
The 'Purebred Wagyu' from 'Stanbroke,' which won the Grand Champion at this year's Australian Wagyu Awards and features high-quality marbling (MB 8-9 grade), will be sold for a limited two-week period. 'Redbarrihoe (350g),' considered one of Korea’s finest sashimi-grade fish, will be offered at the exceptionally low price of 79,800 won thanks to an aquaculture contract with a partner in Geoje.
Traders Guhwol Branch has significantly expanded its 'roadshow' space. Roadshows are experiential promotions that utilize Traders’ spacious layout to feature unique products for short periods of two to three weeks.
Traders Guhwol Branch will provide the largest roadshow spaces among all Traders locations, with a total of 15 areas hosting a variety of unique promotions. Until September 13, the 'Starboat Popup Roadshow' will display a large yacht, offering a distinctive offline experience. In October, the branch will collaborate with Incheon-based brand 'Boga9' to hold the 'Carnival Premium & High-End Limousine Roadshow' event.
Choi Taekwon, Head of Operations at Emart, stated, "Traders Guhwol Branch is a key store that not only continues our ongoing space innovation but also fully showcases Traders’ differentiated products. We aim to provide customers with new experiences and, based on our product competitiveness, establish this location as a core shopping destination in the Incheon market and continue Traders’ growth trajectory."
