The "Matteul Muan Mall," an online shopping mall for local agricultural and specialty products operated by Muan County in South Jeolla Province, has surpassed 50,000 members, continuing its nationwide popularity. After exceeding 30,000 members within its first year of operation, an additional 20,000 members joined in just four months.

Matteul Muan Mall, which opened in April last year, offers a wide range of agricultural, livestock, and marine products produced in Muan-such as rice, onions, sweet potatoes, seaweed, and Korean beef-at reasonable prices. Through online promotional events and on-site marketing activities, the mall has been at the forefront of boosting the consumption of local specialty products carefully cultivated by county residents.

In particular, the Muan Onion Consumption Promotion Event played a decisive role in attracting new members, recording a total of 190 tons sold and 33,000 orders. Thanks to this level of interest, Matteul Muan Mall quickly secured 50,000 members, earning nationwide trust and recognition.

Kim San, the governor of Muan County, stated, "The rapid growth of Matteul Muan Mall was made possible because consumers across the country trust and love Muan's agricultural and specialty products," adding, "We will continue to do our best to expand sales channels and promote consumption."
