With teams for the 'Gwangju 2025 Hyundai World Archery Championships' arriving one after another, the city of Gwangju is holding welcoming events at six accommodations, including the Holiday Inn Gwangju Hotel, to warmly greet delegations from around the world. The city will continue these welcoming events for three days until September 4, greeting teams with banners and championship flags and presenting commemorative gifts.
In particular, university student supporters from Gwangju University and Honam University joined the events, heightening the atmosphere with their youthful enthusiasm and bright smiles as they welcomed the athletes.
At each accommodation, athletes and citizen supporters took commemorative photos together in front of banners and championship flags, capturing moments of unity and exchange.
The teams expressed their gratitude for Gwangju's heartfelt welcome and pledged to do their best on the world stage.
With these welcoming events, the activities of the World Archery Championships supporters have officially begun.
