A Perfect Autumn Getaway for Families at Muchangpo Beach
A festival where visitors can enjoy both jumbo shrimp and gizzard shad, autumn delicacies, will be held at Muchangpo Beach in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province.
The "Muchangpo Jumbo Shrimp and Gizzard Shad Festival" will take place for 17 days, from September 12 to 28, welcoming families and day-trippers.
According to Boryeong City on September 3, this year's festival will feature a variety of programs, including salt-grilled jumbo shrimp and gizzard shad tastings, hands-on catching experiences, and performances.
Gizzard shad, known for its rich flavor and tender flesh, and jumbo shrimp, a signature autumn seafood, are seasonal treats enjoyed by people of all ages.
At Muchangpo Beach, visitors can also take in the breathtaking scenery of the "Mysterious Sea Road," Muchangpo Tower, and Dakbyeoseul Island, which are among the five most beautiful sunset spots in the area.
In particular, from September 19 to 21, the Mysterious Sea Road Festival will also be held, expected to attract even more tourists.
Muchangpo Beach is equipped with a public parking lot and convenient facilities, making it highly accessible and comfortable, and it is gaining attention as a top family outing destination this autumn.
