South Jeolla Province's Damyang County announced on September 3 that it had conducted the "2025 Special and Malicious Civil Complaints Response Capacity Building Training" for all department employees at the Dam Bit Agricultural Center Auditorium on September 2.

This training was linked with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's "On-site Special Civil Complaints Response Training" and was organized to enhance the practical ability to respond effectively to malicious complaints that frequently occur in civil service settings.

The program consisted of field-oriented content, including theoretical lectures, guidance on relevant policies and systems, simulations using real-life cases, Q&A sessions, and grievance counseling.

In particular, Park Iseul, a civil complaints counselor with extensive on-site experience from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, shared specific response strategies and received a highly positive response from attendees.

An official from the county stated, "Malicious complaints are difficult for public officials to handle alone, making organizational protection and systematic response essential. We will continue to strengthen the response capabilities of public officials and create a safe working environment for them."
