Finda, a fintech company, announced that co-CEO Hongmin Park received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the '2025 Industry Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Utilization Promotion Merit Awards' ceremony held on September 3 at COEX Magok in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

This award is given to individuals or organizations who have led the promotion of industrial digital transformation and AI utilization in Korea for more than three years and have made significant contributions to industrial innovation.
In 2015, CEO Park co-founded Finda, the nation's first personalized loan comparison and recommendation service, together with co-CEO Hyemin Lee. In 2019, the Finda application service was recognized by the Financial Services Commission for its innovation and was designated as the first innovative financial service loan.
Notably, last year, users who refinanced their loans through Finda were able to lower their average interest rates by 3.28 percentage points. Through Finda, 3.4 million members brokered loans totaling over 13 trillion won. CEO Park is credited with contributing to resolving financial asymmetry and successfully leading the digital transformation of the loan market.
This year, the 'AI Hyper-Personalized Loan Management Advisor' led by CEO Park was also designated as an innovative financial service and is set to launch soon. In June, Finda became the first in the industry to introduce the 'AI Loan Prediction Service,' which shows expected loan terms without a credit limit inquiry, further leading the way in promoting AI utilization in the financial industry.

We will continue to rapidly introduce financial services that incorporate AI and pursue various initiatives for financially vulnerable groups, including individual consumers and business owners."
CEO Park graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in economics and earned a master's degree in urban planning from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. In 2009, he worked as an analyst in the global asset allocation team at Mirae Asset Global Investments. In 2014, he served as team leader at Nexttrans, a startup consulting and early investment firm, and in 2015, as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Sunshine, before founding Finda in 2015 and managing the company for ten years.
