Surpassing Last Year’s Total Export Performance in the First Half of This Year
Bodyfriend announced on September 3 that its export performance in August this year increased by 363% compared to the same period last year.
This growth trend is attributed to the fact that major global massage chair manufacturers are rapidly adopting healthcare robot technology, leading to a shift in the massage chair paradigm toward "healthcare robots."
In particular, the company has already surpassed last year’s total performance with just its technology exports in the first half of this year (January to June). If this trend continues, Bodyfriend expects to achieve annual results four times higher than the previous year.
A Bodyfriend representative stated, "By spreading healthcare robot technology, we aim not only to help extend the healthy lifespan of global consumers by 10 years, but also to demonstrate the strength of K-Healthcare, a future growth engine for South Korea."
Bodyfriend plans to use the IFA, which will be held in Berlin, Germany starting September 5, as a foothold to more actively expand its presence in the healthcare robot market.
