County Mayor's Commendations Presented to Outstanding Departments and Public Officials
for Proactive Administration Contributing to County Development
Hapcheon County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on September 3 that it held the September 2025 regular meeting in the main conference room of the county office, with over 100 public officials and related personnel in attendance.
During the meeting, various commendations were awarded to distinguished individuals. In particular, the county mayor's commendations were presented to outstanding departments and public officials who contributed to the advancement of county administration. The recognized departments included the Future Growth and Vitality Division and the Livestock Division. Outstanding public officials were Lee Jeongil from the Safety Management Division (Grand Prize), Park Kio from the Water and Sewerage Division and Kim Haneul from the Tourism Promotion Division (Excellence Award), and Kim Byeonghun from the Water and Sewerage Division and Hwang Dongwoo from the Finance Division (Encouragement Award). These recognitions served to encourage the dedication and hard work of public officials and provided an opportunity to further promote proactive administration and innovation within the county government.
Notably, a customized stretching special lecture for staff, designed to relieve accumulated fatigue and tension resulting from recent disaster response efforts and work concentration, received an enthusiastic response. The lecture was conducted by Go Eunjeong, CEO of Suseong Stretching, and taught practical health management techniques that can be easily followed in the office by directly demonstrating and practicing stretching methods using TheraBands to improve musculoskeletal pain.
County Mayor Kim Yooncheol stated, "Disasters can strike unexpectedly at any time, so thorough preparation and strengthened response capabilities are essential," adding, "I urge all departments to work together to ensure that there is no negligence in protecting the lives and property of our residents."
He further added, "We will continue to implement various programs to promote employee health and enhance mental vitality in the future."
