Hanwha Vision Americas Achieves ISO 37001 Certification
Meets Major Global Anti-Bribery Standards
Hanwha Vision Americas Corporation announced on September 3 that it has obtained certification for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 37001 is an international standard that comprehensively evaluates a company's anti-bribery and management capabilities. It assesses whether companies operate anti-bribery systems in accordance with major global standards such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the U.K. Bribery Act.
Hanwha Vision Americas Corporation has maintained transparent and ethical business practices through the systematic operation of its anti-bribery system, and these efforts have received positive recognition. This certification is expected to serve as an opportunity for Hanwha Vision to enhance its corporate credibility not only in the Americas but also in the global market.
A Hanwha Vision representative stated, "We prepared for this certification over several months, believing that accurately identifying stakeholder interests and corruption risks is the cornerstone of ethical management," adding, "This is an essential process for the sustainable growth of our Americas corporation."
In addition to complying with anti-bribery laws, Hanwha Vision is working to establish a culture of compliance through various initiatives, including compliance education programs for employees, clear internal whistleblowing channels, the execution and management of compliance pledges with partner companies, and ongoing anti-bribery monitoring. Last year, Hanwha Vision became the first company in the domestic video security industry to obtain ISO 37301 (Compliance Management System) certification, and has also acquired international standard certifications in various fields, such as ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System), ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).
