Im Taehee, Superintendent of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, who is currently visiting Tunisia in Africa, remarked, "I am deeply impressed by Tunisia's continuous efforts to pave new paths in education, such as strengthening the competencies of students and teachers in line with the changing trends of society."
On September 1 and 2 (local time), Superintendent Im visited the National Center for Educational Technology (CNTE), the National Pedagogical Center (CNP), and the International Center for Training of Trainers and Pedagogical Innovation (CIFFIP), which are public institutions under the Tunisian Ministry of Education.
The National Center for Educational Technology, which Superintendent Im visited, is responsible for research and development of Tunisia's educational information systems, the development of digital learning platforms and educational content, and the establishment of digital infrastructure. The center operates with the goal of providing an educational environment where "Tunisian students can receive education without discrimination, regardless of when or where they are."
Skander Ghenia, Director of the National Center for Educational Technology, said, "We are working to build infrastructure and systems so that online education is possible in over 2,500 schools in Tunisia," and added, "If the high-quality content from Gyeonggi education is provided, it will greatly benefit Tunisian students by enabling education that transcends both time and space."

The National Pedagogical Center is responsible for producing high-quality educational content. It is currently developing and producing the only official government-issued textbook in Tunisia, which highlights the importance of the center's role. Last year and this year, the center created a total of 314 types of educational content, including 206 types for students, and printed 16 million books, including textbooks.
Karim Daoud, Director of the National Pedagogical Center, stated, "I believe it is necessary to digitize the ever-increasing educational content to align with future education," and requested, "I hope you can share Gyeonggi's expertise on how to develop, accumulate, and utilize digital educational content."
The International Center for Training of Trainers and Pedagogical Innovation aims to strengthen teachers' competencies and drive educational innovation. The center develops and provides training programs to foster highly skilled teachers and conducts research for educational innovation.
Zakaria Dassi, Director of the International Center for Training of Trainers and Pedagogical Innovation, said, "We are researching and developing the educational systems of neighboring countries to enhance teacher competencies, and we are working to ensure that Tunisian students can safely and successfully complete their school life."
Superintendent Im Taehee emphasized, "I am deeply impressed by Tunisia's continuous efforts to pave new paths in education, such as strengthening the competencies of students and teachers in line with the changing trends of society," and added, "If you attend the Future Education Forum hosted by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education this December, you will be able to see firsthand how future education systems and educational sites are operated."
