A fire broke out in the Seobu Urban Expressway Tunnel in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, resulting in traffic being blocked in both directions.
According to fire authorities, at around 7:07 a.m. on September 3, a report was received that a vehicle's hood was on fire in the Seobu Urban Expressway Tunnel, in the direction of Anyang from the Seongsan Bridge.
The fire authorities deployed three vehicles and 15 personnel, managed to contain the flames by 7:37 a.m., and completely extinguished the fire by 7:46 a.m.
No casualties have been reported so far.
