[Bitcoin Now] Bithumb "System Maintenance Due to Execution Delays"

Virtual asset exchange Bithumb has begun service maintenance due to delayed trade executions and other issues.

According to the virtual asset industry on September 3, Bithumb announced that it would inspect its trading system due to temporary execution delays starting from 11:30 p.m. the previous day. The notice was posted at 11:45 p.m. on the same day. As of now, trading has been suspended on the Bithumb app, mobile web, and PC platforms.

Through the announcement, Bithumb stated, "Although we cannot provide an estimated time for normalization, trading services will resume as soon as stability is secured." The company also added, "If there is an abnormal difference between domestic and international exchange prices and Bithumb's quotes after the maintenance is completed, pending orders may be canceled to protect customers holding such orders."
