On September 2, Kang Juyup, Administrator of the Multifunctional Administrative City Construction Agency, visited the construction site of the Second Geumgang Bridge in Gongju, a project being jointly promoted with Gongju City. He conducted a focused inspection of the safety management status in preparation for summer flood and typhoon season, and encouraged those working at the site. Administrator Kang sequentially inspected slope protection measures, drainage facilities, material and equipment management, and emergency response systems. He emphasized the importance of maintaining constant monitoring to prevent river disasters and instructed that swift action should be taken in the event of an incident.
