The event, held the previous day at Seocho Culture and Arts Center in Seocho District, Seoul, was attended by about 400 local children. Officials from the Seocho District Pharmaceutical Association and employees of Ildong Pharmaceutical Group were also present to help run the event.

The puppet show "Yakdori Is My Friend" is an original performance designed to teach children how to use medications properly and safely, as well as precautions to take when handling them, all tailored to a child's perspective. The show presents the specialized topic of pharmaceuticals in an easy-to-understand way by using puppet characters that children love, and incorporates recreation, quizzes, and a laser show to encourage audience participation and engagement.

For this event, Ildong Pharmaceutical provided its own products, including the children's probiotics and butyrate supplement "Biovita," the children's nutritional jelly "KidQ," and the disposable wound bandage "Careleaves." Employees of Ildong Pharmaceutical Group also contributed by using funds accumulated through the company's salary deduction program for social contribution purposes.

An official from Ildong Pharmaceutical stated, "We organized this event so that children could learn how to use medications properly in a fun way, by presenting familiar scenarios through a puppet show," adding, "We will continue to participate in activities that support people's health and safety in line with our identity as a pharmaceutical company, while also paying close attention to local issues and maintaining communication with the community."

Ildong Pharmaceutical Group continues to engage in various donation and sponsorship activities for marginalized groups and welfare facilities, utilizing resources such as the employee salary deduction fund, a matching grant program, and a scholarship foundation. The company is also expanding its ESG management efforts by participating in social contribution activities through volunteer groups and the Nanumi program, which include environmental cleanups, home repairs for those in need, kimchi and coal sharing, and disaster relief.
