Sh Suhyup Bank announced on September 2 that it has relocated its Seodaegu Branch and held an opening ceremony to mark the occasion.
The newly relocated Seodaegu Branch is situated at Duryu Intersection, the boundary between Seo-gu and Dalseo-gu in Daegu, offering excellent visibility. In addition, the branch is located in a prime area directly connected to Duryu Station on Subway Line 2 and provides ample parking space, allowing both pedestrians and customers using vehicles to conveniently visit the branch.
The area surrounding the Seodaegu Branch is densely populated with large apartment complexes, a comprehensive shopping mall, and a street mall, as well as various residential and commercial facilities, resulting in a high volume of foot traffic. With new complexes such as Duryu Ja-i and Duryu Star Hills currently being occupied, the branch is expected to expand its stable base of customers.
An official from Sh Suhyup Bank stated, "We decided to relocate in order to provide a better environment and more convenient services to our customers, who had experienced inconvenience due to the aging building, lack of amenities, and insufficient parking at the previous location. As large apartment complexes and commercial facilities are concentrated within the branch’s business area, we plan to focus our efforts on attracting new customers, increasing high-quality clients, and expanding non-interest income."
Meanwhile, at the relocation and opening ceremony held on the same day, Do Moonok, Senior Executive Vice President of the Management Strategy Group at Sh Suhyup Bank, outstanding customers of the Seodaegu Branch, heads of Suhyup cooperatives from the Gyeongbuk region, and other key internal and external guests attended to celebrate the successful relocation and new beginning of the Seodaegu Branch.
Senior Executive Vice President Do Moonok remarked, "I hope that the Seodaegu Branch will become a landmark that grows together with local residents, small business owners, and entrepreneurs through community-based marketing and mutually beneficial financial services."
