The Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on September 2 that the Yeosu City Community Security Council held an Honor Society induction ceremony for member Shin Jungwan.
With this induction, Shin Jungwan became the 163rd Honor Society member of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae and the 25th in Yeosu. By completing a donation of 100 million won, Shin was registered as a full member.
The event was attended by Shin Jungwan, Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, Kim Cheolhee, Honor Society representative for the eastern region of Jeonnam in Yeosu, Jeong Cheolseop, Chairman of the Yeosu City Community Security Council, and other officials.
Shin Jungwan stated, "Due to personal physical discomfort, I decided to make this donation to transform the things I cannot personally enjoy into acts of sharing. I want to leave a meaningful mark on the community with the belief that 'small acts of sharing can create big changes.' I made this decision because I wanted to help neighbors in need of care in the region."
Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "Shin Jungwan's noble intention will have a profound impact on the community. We will do our utmost to ensure that this precious donation is delivered with care to neighbors in need."
