Yang Donghoon Named Chief Secretary

On September 2, the Daejeon Metropolitan Government appointed Kim Jongmoon, Vice President of the Daejeon Sports Council, as Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs for the 8th popularly elected administration, and Park Duyong, Deputy Director of the Daejeon City Party Office of the People Power Party, as Senior Secretary for Political Affairs.
Additionally, Yang Donghoon was appointed as Chief Secretary.

Mayor Lee Jangwoo stated, "Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs Kim is an expert with extensive experience in the economic sector and strong communication and coordination skills, while Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Park is the right person to support the city's achievements, thanks to his strong drive and on-site experience." He added, "I expect the synergy between these two individuals will play a crucial role in Daejeon's leap toward becoming a first-class economic city."
Kim Jongmoon, Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs, was born in 1974. He graduated from Sunam University with a degree in Public Administration and earned a master's degree in Public Administration from Paichai University. He has previously served as Vice President of the Daejeon Sports Council, CEO of JM Fitness, and Advisory Committee Member of the National Integration Committee.
Park Duyong, Senior Secretary for Political Affairs, was born in 1980. He graduated from the Department of Information and Statistics at Daejeon University. He has served as Deputy Director of the Daejeon City Party Office of the People Power Party, Chairman of the People Power Party Secretariat Labor Union, member of the Daejeon Mayoral Transition Committee, and Deputy Director of the North Chungcheong Provincial Party Office of the People Power Party.
Yang Donghoon, Chief Secretary, was born in 1981. He graduated from the Department of English at Hanbat National University and has served as Secretary of Daejeon Metropolitan City and as a National Assembly Member's Secretary at the National Assembly Secretariat.
