Belieflab announced on September 2 that the group Aileet held a showcase for the release of their first single "Toki yo Tomare" in Tokyo, Japan, on September 1, unveiling the stage performance of the title track.
Approximately 550 fans who won advance applications and numerous members of the press attended the event in person, while about 300,000 fans from around the world joined the live broadcast via YouTube and TikTok.
The showcase began with the pre-released track "Topping." The upbeat melody, the catchy lyrics "Top Top Topping," and a refreshing performance heightened the atmosphere. The title track "Toki yo Tomare" followed, drawing enthusiastic cheers with its disco-pop sound, spell-like lyrics, and choreography that mimicked the ticking of a clock.
Aileet shared their thoughts in Japanese, saying, "We are delighted to meet our fandom 'Glit' up close on such a special day. We look forward to getting even closer to our fans who support us in Japan." They added, "We will become artists who deliver positive energy. Please continue to warmly watch over our growth."
Immediately after its release, "Toki yo Tomare" topped the real-time rising chart on the Japanese music site AWA Music, and its music video ranked fifth on YouTube Trending Worldwide.
The single contains a total of four tracks, and the physical album will be released on September 3. Aileet is scheduled to hold a fan concert, "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN," at Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka on September 3 and 4. All seats for the concert-including general reserved seats, limited-view seats, and standing areas-have sold out.
