Foreign Woman in Her 20s Dies at Gwangju Bus Terminal... Police Investigate

A female tourist in her twenties from France died after experiencing difficulty breathing on a bus inside the Gwangju Intercity Bus Terminal, and police are investigating the cause of death.

According to the Gwangju Fire Department, at around 9:13 a.m. on September 1, a bus driver reported that a female French traveler in her twenties, identified as Ms. A, was having trouble breathing at the Gwangju Seogu Intercity Bus Terminal.

Emergency responders performed CPR on Ms. A, who was in cardiac arrest, and transported her to a nearby hospital, but she was ultimately pronounced dead.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, including the cause of Ms. A's death.
