Kia announced on September 1 that it sold 43,501 vehicles in the domestic market in August 2025, marking a 7.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
The best-selling vehicle in the domestic market last month was the Sorento, with 6,531 units sold.
For passenger cars, a total of 12,045 units were sold, including 3,484 units of the Ray, 3,238 units of the K5, and 1,976 units of the K8.
For recreational vehicles, a total of 28,013 units were sold, including 6,531 units of the Sorento, 6,031 units of the Carnival, 5,755 units of the Sportage, 4,238 units of the Seltos, 2,317 units of the EV3, and 887 units of the Tasman.
For commercial vehicles, a total of 3,443 units were sold, including 3,168 units of the Bongo III.
Kia’s overseas sales in August 2025 totaled 209,887 units, representing a 0.4% decrease compared to the same month last year.
By model, the Sportage was the best-selling vehicle overseas with 39,214 units sold, followed by the Seltos with 23,567 units, and the K3 (including K4) with 15,881 units.
