Former Deputy Mayor of Dongdaemun District
Served as 7th Chairman of the Facilities Management Corporation
On September 1, Dongdaemun District in Seoul (Mayor Lee Pilhyung) announced the appointment of Park Heesu, former Deputy Mayor of Dongdaemun District, as the 9th Chairman of the Dongdaemun District Facilities Management Corporation.

Park, the newly appointed chairman, graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Sungkyunkwan University and began his public service career in 1986 after passing the 30th Higher Civil Service Examination. He has built a diverse career in various fields, serving as the Head of Public Transportation at the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Director of Management at the Seoul Waterworks Headquarters, Director of Culture, and Head of the Magok Project Promotion Team, gaining experience in transportation policy, management, cultural planning, and urban development.
From 2010 to 2014, he served as Deputy Mayor of Dongdaemun District, leading projects to improve residents' welfare, such as the establishment of the Dongdaemun District Environmental Resource Center and the installation of the Jungnangcheon Outdoor Swimming Pool.
From 2020 to 2022, as the 7th Chairman of the Dongdaemun District Facilities Management Corporation, he worked continuously to advance the corporation and enhance resident satisfaction, even under the challenging circumstances of the pandemic. His efforts included operating resident participation culture and sports programs using YouTube, strengthening communication with residents through the Resident Participation Council, and establishing a dedicated department for safety management.
Chairman Park stated, "I will do my utmost to ensure that the Facilities Management Corporation fully fulfills its role as an organization that maximizes resident satisfaction through safety, trust, and communication management, and actively realizes the region's social value."
