An explosion occurred at a cosmetics factory in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, injuring 11 people.
According to fire authorities and other sources, at around 3:20 p.m. on September 1, an explosion took place at a cosmetics manufacturing factory located in Mogok-dong, Pyeongtaek.
As a result, 11 factory workers sustained injuries, including burns.
The accident reportedly occurred when a steam machine exploded for reasons that have yet to be determined.
The police and fire authorities plan to investigate the details of the accident as soon as the site has been secured.
