The Hampyeong County Child Meal Management Support Center, operated under consignment by Dongshin University, conducted an "Oral Health Promotion Education" program for daycare center children in Hampyeong County over the past month.
This program was designed to help local children develop proper oral hygiene habits. With support from the Hampyeong County Public Health Center's oral health bus and professional staff, the center provided customized fluoride application services to 174 children at 11 daycare centers in the area.
The educational program included hands-on activities such as understanding the importance of tooth brushing, learning about foods that promote dental health, and practicing correct brushing techniques. The curriculum was structured to encourage active participation and enjoyable learning experiences for the children.
Kim Jiseon, Director of the Hampyeong County Child Meal Management Support Center, stated, "It was a meaningful opportunity that provided practical help in preventing cavities and improving dental health for children." She added, "We will continue to offer a variety of customized educational programs to help children in Hampyeong County develop proper tooth brushing habits and healthy lifestyles."
