Shinsegae Centum City Hosts Dongbaek Sanghoe Pop-Up in Busan

Shinsegae Centum City is operating a pop-up store for "Dongbaek Sanghoe," a brand that sells outstanding products from companies in the Busan region, located on Basement Level 2.

This event, which is held in two rounds-from September 1 to 4 and from September 8 to 11-features a curated selection of best-selling products from Dongbaek Sanghoe.


The first round of the event showcases products curated into four categories: scents, flavors, goods, and fashion representing Busan. A total of 15 excellent local brands from Busan will participate.


Shoppers can find a wide variety of regional products, including goods featuring the "Bugi" character of Busan and reinterpretations of Korea's beautiful traditional aesthetics, as well as clothing, alcoholic beverages, soy sauce products, and diffusers-all offered at the largest discounts of the year (up to 40%). Discount rates vary by brand.


In the second round, the modern pleatswear brand "Limberlimber" will exclusively introduce its new Fall/Winter collection.


Known for its flowing silhouettes that move with the body, lightweight comfort, and elegance, this clothing brand will offer up to 20% off during the event, as well as various promotions such as a complimentary belt with the purchase of three or more pieces.


During this period, the main store will also attract customers by offering additional discounts and generous gifts, promoting the excellence of all products available at Dongbaek Sanghoe and boosting sales.


Additionally, during the September Companion Festival, some brands affiliated with Dongbaek Sanghoe will participate in the "Busan Living Market" (Central Plaza, Basement Level 2), which is jointly organized by Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, and Shinsegae, to showcase a variety of products.


Dongbaek Sanghoe, now in its third year, was launched in 2023 as the first public-private partnership between Busan Metropolitan City and Shinsegae. It is a specialty store operated by the local government, dedicated to products from small and medium-sized enterprises in Busan.


When Dongbaek Sanghoe first opened, Shinsegae Centum City covered all interior costs to help local small business owners find new sales channels and promote their brands. Since opening, Shinsegae has continued to support the store by allowing it to operate without sales commissions or management fees.
